What We Put in Our Soaps
We have worked on our recipes for a couple of years and now have three basic recipes that we use. All of our soaps are old fashioned recipes that we have modernized; however, none of our soaps are vegan. We use animal fats in all of our batters because we have found they produce a better, more moisturzing soap. Our soaps are made in small batches either with the cold process method or the hot process method. The embeds we use are regularly made with cold process soap; however, our glycerin soap embeds do not contain any artificial ingredients. Our soaps are free of sodium laurel sulfate, artificial preservatives, harsh abrasives, bleach, parabens or phlatates, petroleum, and ethanol. Individual ingredients are listed on each bar and nothing is omitted.

It is important to keep handcrafted soaps dry between uses. Be sure to keep your soaps in trays that drain the water away from the soap. Properly cared for between washes, your soaps should last a good while.
